This is how the remodeling work on Abelardo de la Espriella's presidential headquarters in Barranquilla is progressing

Renovation works are currently underway at the Batallón Paraíso in Barranquilla to adapt the military facility into the presidential office for Abelardo de la Espriella. The preparations are scheduled in anticipation of the transition following August 7, 2026.

The relocation project is designed to shift a portion of the incoming administration's core operations away from the traditional capital to the city of Barranquilla.
