South Korea was defeated by Japan with a score of 2-0 in the women's football semifinals at the Asian Games. The match took place in Nagoya, Japan, on September 29.

As a result of the semifinal loss, the South Korean team will advance to play against China in the upcoming match for the bronze medal.
