Asking Eric: Cleaning service lost my trust when they damaged my home, didn’t own up to it

Dear Eric: I hired a cleaning lady who was great, but she would also often bring help with her or send someone in her place. This other person accidentally broke a decorative piece in the bathroom which upon the fall, broke a sink, resulting in a hole in the porcelain.
