(SOUTHERN COLORADO) — The Aspen Acres Fire in Southern Colorado is now 101,738 acres as of Saturday, July 25, and stands at 61% containment, according to the Northern Rockies Complex Incident Management Team 6 (CIMT6). 945 personnel are battling the fire. /Warm and dry conditions are expected in the area throughout the weekend.
The Aspen Acres Fire in southern Colorado, among the largest in state history, has destroyed 851 structures and prompted widespread evacuations.
