At Least 10 People Faint Waiting to Farewell Giorgos Mazonakis

At least ten people fainted while waiting outside the Holy Trinity Church in Nikaia on Sunday as thousands gathered to pay their respects to the late Greek singer Giorgos Mazonakis.

Crowds had assembled ahead of the public viewing to bid farewell to the beloved artist. Mazonakis’ body arrived at the church shortly after 7:30 p.m., drawing large numbers of mourners to the site.
