At-risk missing woman, 80, last seen in Oakland Monday

An 80-year-old woman, Edith Egas, was reported missing after she was last seen on Monday at approximately 7:30 p.m. in the area of Lyon Avenue and High Street in Oakland, California.

In response to her disappearance, the California Highway Patrol activated a Silver Alert in Alameda County on Tuesday to aid in locating her. Egas is described as being 5 feet 5 inches tall.
