Audits of Agriculture indicate a lack of budgetary transparency

Two internal audits conducted at the Ministry of Agriculture in the Dominican Republic have revealed a significant lack of budgetary transparency. The reviews identified a total of 56 non-compliance issues within the ministry.

Among the specific irregularities documented in the audits are payments and hires made without any supporting documentation, overdue debts, and vehicle financing provided to employees without the corresponding deductions being applied to their payrolls.
