Death toll rises in Colombia after earthquake

Following a major earthquake that struck Colombia on Monday, the death toll has risen to 265, according to an announcement made on Wednesday by President Abelardo de la Espriella. In addition to the fatalities, official reports indicate that 3,494 people have sustained injuries, while 496 individuals remain missing.
