Authorities investigate attack on Australian citizen at electronic music festival in Colombia

Colombian authorities are investigating the stabbing of a 46-year-old Australian citizen, identified as Frank Stephen Ramírez, who sustained 25 knife wounds in Medellín.

The attack occurred during the early hours of Sunday in the Laureles neighborhood, located in western Medellín, after the victim had attended the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) electronic music festival.

Following the assault, Ramírez remains hospitalized under a reserved medical prognosis.
