Electrical failure affects train frequency on Metro Line 2

An electrical failure on Line 2 of the Santo Domingo Metro has caused service delays and reduced train frequencies this Friday morning. The disruption, which has resulted in long wait times for commuters, stems from restoration work being carried out on an electrical cell between the Concepción Bona and Pablo Adón stations.

Despite the ongoing delays and affected frequency, the transit system remains operational. The situation and the restoration efforts were officially reported by the Empresa Metropolitana del Transporte (EMT).
