Following a 7.4-magnitude earthquake that struck Colombia with its epicenter in the department of Chocó, the death toll has reached at least 240 people, with 668 others injured. Additionally, financial institutions and airlines have contributed to the humanitarian response, with BBVA allocating 3,500 food and hygiene kits containing non-perishable goods and essential supplies, while carriers Avianca and Latam Colombia introduced ticket flexibility measures allowing date changes and refunds for affected travelers.
