Ayuso demands to know "how much" Sánchez's vacation is costing: "Spain is completely abandoned and paralyzed"

On Monday, August 17, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, President of the Community of Madrid, publicly demanded to know the financial cost of the vacation taken by Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez. Ayuso asserted that Spain is currently "totally abandoned and paralyzed" under Sánchez's leadership.

During her statements, Ayuso criticized the Prime Minister for being on vacation—using the expression that he is "in flip-flops"—while the autonomous city of Ceuta faces severe pressures, described as being "on the verge of collapse."
