A baby girl was born in northern Israel, marking the first birth of the Jewish New Year 5787. The delivery took place at a medical facility in the region as the holiday commenced.

According to the attending medical staff, the mother underwent a natural birth without the use of pain medication. Shift Supervisor and Deputy Midwife Tahrir Masalha noted that the mother cooperated throughout the delivery process.
