BACTA and PNG National Museum & Art Gallery sign an MOU to safeguard Bougainville’s Cultural Heritage and Rebuild Its Museum Vision.

The Bougainville Arts, Culture and Tourism Authority (BACTA) and the Papua New Guinea National Museum and Art Gallery have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The agreement is aimed at safeguarding Bougainville's cultural heritage and rebuilding its museum vision.

This initiative represents a significant step toward protecting Bougainville's living culture and its wartime history. The partnership ensures that these historical and cultural assets are preserved for the benefit of future generations.
