Baker Mayfield injury leaves Buccaneers awaiting answers after loss to Vikings

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a new concern after another difficult loss. Quarterback Baker Mayfield injured his throwing hand late in Sunday’s 23-16 loss to the Minnesota Vikings and now faces more testing to determine how serious the problem is. Coach Todd Bowles said after the game that Mayfield suffered a dislocated right thumb.

Initial X-rays did not show a fracture, but an MRI is scheduled for Monday, ESPN said.
