The Dutch central bank withdraws 86 tons of gold from the US and Canada to prepare "in case of crisis"

De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB), the central bank of the Netherlands, has relocated 86 tons of its gold reserves from storage facilities in New York and Ottawa to London. The institution stated that the transfer is intended to diversify its holdings and ensure the assets are more readily available in the event of a financial crisis.
