The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has officially raised concerns regarding umpiring errors and a specific regulatory discrepancy during Under-19 one-day matches against Afghanistan. Central to the dispute is an occurrence involving the Afghanistan captain bowling an 11th over.

To substantiate the complaint, Bangladesh officials provided video footage of the disputed over to match referee Latifzai. The board also formally explained how the discrepancies regarding the over count had transpired during the fixture.
