Democratic candidate for governor of California calls for voting for immigrants who cannot go to the polls

Xavier Becerra, former U.S. Secretary of Health and a leading candidate in the polls for Governor of California, has called on the Latino community in the United States to participate in the upcoming elections on November 3.

Speaking in Los Angeles on October 15, Becerra urged eligible Latino voters to cast their ballots not only for themselves, but also as a proxy for immigrants who lack the legal right to vote and cannot go to the polls.
