Ben Simmons' comeback ends before it began: Kings guard suffers torn Achilles, likely to miss season

Sacramento Kings guard Ben Simmons has suffered a torn Achilles, an injury that is expected to sideline him for the entire season and bring a premature end to his anticipated comeback.

Simmons had not played during the 2025-26 season and was projected to step into a starting role for the Kings prior to sustaining the season-ending injury.
