Kenya: Bishop Wanjiru Gives Notice to Resign As Nairobi Rivers Commission Chairperson

Nairobi Rivers Commission Chairperson Margaret Wanjiru has formally submitted notice of her intention to resign from her position. In a letter addressed to the Head of Public Service, Felix Koskei, Wanjiru provided a 30-day notice period to step down from the role.

Wanjiru stated that her decision to leave the commission is motivated by a desire to focus on other professional and personal engagements. The Nairobi Rivers Commission is tasked with the oversight and rehabilitation of the city's river systems.
