BMKG: Gempa M6,4 di Simalungun tidak berpotensi tsunami

The Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) reported that a tectonic earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 struck the Simalungun region.

Following the seismic event, BMKG issued an official assessment confirming that the magnitude 6.4 earthquake does not have the potential to trigger a tsunami.
