Bolaños believes that amnesty for Puigdemont is "just a matter of time" once the Constitutional Court resolves the appeals

On Tuesday, Spanish Minister of the Presidency, Justice and Relations with the Cortes, Félix Bolaños, stated that the full implementation of the amnesty law is a matter of time. His remarks followed a decision by Supreme Court magistrate Pablo Llarena to reject an amnesty request from former Catalan president Carles Puigdemont.

Bolaños expressed confidence that the legal measure will eventually apply to all individuals involved in the 2017 independence process, known as the 'procés'. He indicated that this outcome will occur once the Constitutional Court issues rulings on the pending appeals regarding the legislation.
