The Bolivian government has officially reported that the Brazilian criminal organizations Primer Comando de la Capital (PCC) and Comando Vermelho (CV) are actively recruiting Bolivian citizens along the border with Brazil. Minister of Government Marco Antonio Oviedo presented these findings to the Legislative Assembly, highlighting the expansion of these groups into national territory.

In response to the identified threat, authorities have initiated police interventions in the Pando department. Furthermore, the government has begun implementing specialized training programs for local law enforcement, conducted in collaboration with United States experts, to address the criminal presence in the border region.
