Brad Paisley and wife help open free Nashville grocery store with $1m gift

Country music artist Brad Paisley and his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, have opened a second location of The Store in Nashville. The nonprofit grocery store is designed to combat food insecurity by providing free food to those in need. The couple contributed a $1 million gift to support the expansion of the initiative.

This new location follows the success of the original store, which launched in 2020. The initial project established a model for community-based support, having engaged over 3,100 volunteers since its inception. The expansion marks a significant increase in the couple's ongoing philanthropic efforts within the Nashville area.
