BREAKING: Hungary extends ‘mass migration crisis’ until end of 2026, PM Magyar vows no easing of border rules

Hungary has extended its officially declared "mass migration crisis" until the end of 2026, Prime Minister Péter Magyar announced.

Alongside the extension, the Prime Minister vowed that the government will maintain its current legal framework and refuse to ease border control rules regarding illegal migration.
