BRICS leaders voice concern over Middle East, condemn unilateral sanctions at India summit

Leaders of the BRICS group of emerging economies gathered in New Delhi for a summit aimed at strengthening their position in global affairs. During the meeting, the leaders expressed deep concern over rising tensions in the Middle East.

In addition to addressing the Middle Eastern conflict, the summit participants formally condemned the use of unilateral sanctions that lack authorization from the United Nations.
