Brussels opens proceedings against all EU countries except Italy for failing to implement new hydrogen rules

On Friday, the European Commission announced the opening of infringement procedures and disciplinary files against 27 European Union member states for failing to fully incorporate new European regulations into their national legislations.

While one report notes that the action targets all member states for not applying rules against industrial contamination, another specifies that the measures are directed at Spain and the rest of the EU—with the sole exception of Italy—for failing to adopt new rules concerning hydrogen.
