European Commissioner for Home Affairs and Migration, Magnus Brunner, addressed the European Parliament on Tuesday regarding the recent irregular migration crisis in Ceuta. He stated that the primary objective for the European Union is the urgent and rapid return of all migrants who entered the Spanish autonomous city on July 30 and 31 to Morocco.

Brunner emphasized that the situation requires immediate attention and a swift resolution. The demand for these returns underscores the European Commission's focus on maintaining border control and managing irregular migration flows through diplomatic cooperation with Morocco.
