Senator Patricia Bullrich has presented a resolution project in Argentina demanding explanations from Ariel Cejas Meliare, the deputy prison ombudsman in charge of the National Penitentiary Procuration. Bullrich accused the official of obstructing the transfer of inmates from the Devoto prison.

The initiative requires the prison ombudsman to appear before the Senate to provide details regarding the agency's actions and procedures that have allegedly stalled the prisoner relocation process.
