Bunge pushes PPPs to improve urban cleanliness

Speaker of the National Assembly Mussa Zungu has called on officials within the Prime Minister’s Office—Regional Administration and Local Government (PMORALG) to prioritize Public-Private Partnership (PPP) initiatives for urban waste management. Speaking in Dodoma, Zungu urged government representatives to shift their administrative mindset to better facilitate these partnerships rather than hindering their progress.

The initiative aims to improve urban cleanliness through increased collaboration between the public sector and private entities. By addressing bureaucratic obstacles, the government seeks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of waste management services across the country.
