Diesel-CNG hybrid buses: the technology already operating in the AMBA (Greater Buenos Aires) and accelerating the energy transition

In the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA), new diesel-CNG hybrid buses have begun operation as part of an effort to improve urban transport efficiency. This technology is being positioned as a transition strategy to lower traditional fuel consumption without requiring an immediate, full-scale renewal of existing bus fleets.

Separately, in the Dominican Republic, the government is currently negotiating with the National Association of Gasoline Retailers (Anadegas) to prevent a potential service disruption. The association has threatened to disconnect payment terminals at 780 fuel stations starting September 25, though officials have yet to present a formal proposal to resolve the dispute.
