Caine tells Slotkin there are no plans to send military to polls in November

Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair General Dan Caine informed Senator Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.) via letter that the military has no plans to be deployed to polling places during the November midterm elections.

In his communication, Caine emphasized that the responsibility for administering and securing elections lies fundamentally with state and local officials.
