Carney says AtkinsRealis is a contender to build nuclear power plant in Turkiye

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced on Friday that the Canadian engineering company AtkinsRealis is a contender to help build Türkiye's third nuclear power plant. The disclosure was made during the first bilateral visit between the two countries.

The announcement coincides with NATO allies Canada and Türkiye upgrading their diplomatic relations to a "strategic partnership."
