Last captive whales in Canada to leave Marineland as belugas head for U.S.

Canada's last captive whales are scheduled to leave Marineland in Niagara Falls, Ontario, for the United States on Monday. Six beluga whales will be shipped to two different American aquariums.

The relocation comes as the Niagara Falls tourist attraction remains closed and up for sale. Park officials have stated that Marineland is running out of money and can no longer provide care for its animals.
