Canada’s weaker loonie helped drive a wider trade surplus in June: StatCan

Statistics Canada reported that the country’s trade surplus widened in June as exports increased and imports declined. The growth in the surplus was attributed in part to a weaker Canadian dollar, which increased the reported value of exports.
