Foreign Ministry makes facilities available after earthquake in Colombia

Following a powerful 7.4 magnitude earthquake in Colombia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Mirex) of the Dominican Republic announced on Monday that it has made its two consular offices in South America available to assist Dominican citizens residing in the country.

The strong seismic event struck the region, prompting the Dominican government to utilize its diplomatic missions abroad as points of contact and support for nationals affected or displaced by the disaster.
