New research reveals a significant link between cannabis use and the onset of psychosis, highlighting the critical role that age plays in the development of symptoms.

According to the findings, individuals who use cannabis and subsequently develop psychosis for the first time in their thirties experience their symptoms more than six years earlier than those with the condition who do not use the drug.
