Caricom calls for greater protection and inclusion of indigenous peoples

The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) has issued a formal call for the implementation of stronger policies aimed at protecting the rights of indigenous peoples. The appeal, issued from the organization's headquarters in Georgetown, Guyana, coincides with the observance of the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples.
