This proposal represents an increase of $59.3 trillion over previous allocations. Business leaders have expressed concern regarding the fiscal challenges inherited from the Petro administration, noting that these issues must be addressed within the framework of the new budget cycle.

Separately, in Peru, approximately 9,971 police officers across three regions are currently facing a critical funding shortfall. Reports indicate that local stations have exhausted their budgets for daily food rations, leaving these personnel without provisions for their service requirements.
