Cases of leptospirosis are down, but the cumulative total is up

According to the Ministry of Public Health's bulletin for Epidemiological Week 30 of 2026, cases of leptospirosis in the Dominican Republic have exhibited a downward trend in recent weeks. Specifically, two confirmed cases were reported during that week.
