A gang of snatchers who were robbing people during a protest in Plaza de Mayo was caught: one of them was a fugitive for an armed robbery.

Seven men were arrested on Saturday after being accused of operating as a pickpocketing and snatch-theft gang during a protest in the Plaza de Mayo area of downtown Buenos Aires.

Among the seven suspects taken into custody, one was already a fugitive facing an active arrest warrant in connection with an armed robbery.
