Broadcaster and former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is no longer employed at CBS Sports, with the network and the color commentator mutually agreeing to part ways following a DWI arrest in July.
Romo originally joined the CBS Sports NFL booth in 2020 after the network initiated a major industry spending spree to secure the celebrated commentator. His departure from the network is now expected to help the sports outlet tamp down on its operational costs.
