Authorities in El Salvador arrested 32-year-old Susana Ivette P. following a domestic violence incident involving a dispute over jealousy in the municipality of Sonsonate Centro, as reported by the National Civil Police on Monday.

In a separate and distinct case, Victoria Cantero is scheduled to be transferred to a judicial seat on Tuesday to be formally charged with the homicide of 29-year-old Matías Julián Álvarez Guardia. The victim died on Sunday after suffering a stab wound to the thorax, with the case involving details regarding a relationship characterized by jealousy, recurring separations, and aggression according to the victim's sister.
