Cerca de 100 sismos se localizaron al nororiente del volcán Puracé: el SGC registró ceniza y emisiones de gases

Approximately 100 earthquakes were localized to the northeast of the Puracé volcano, according to the Colombian Geological Service (SGC). The seismic activity was accompanied by recorded emissions of ash and gas from the volcano.

In response to the persistent and significant changes observed in its monitoring parameters, the Puracé volcano remains at an orange alert status. The latest bulletin detailing these conditions was published by the SGC on Wednesday, September 2.
