Chavismo y oposición acuerdan recuperar activos en el exterior para atención tras sismos

The Government of Venezuela and a faction of the opposition led by former lawmaker Dinorah Figuera reached an agreement on Wednesday in Caracas to recover international reserve assets deposited in banks abroad. The decision concluded the first cycle of dialogue between the two sides.

The recovered funds are earmarked to provide humanitarian and relief assistance following recent earthquakes that affected the country.
