China-Nepal floods: rescuers pull 2 survivors out of rubble near Tibet border crossing

Chinese rescue teams pulled two villagers alive from the rubble near the Gyirong border checkpoint on Saturday morning. The operation took place near the Tibet-Nepal border as rescue efforts surpassed the critical 72-hour window following a series of devastating floods this week.

The survivors were discovered at approximately 1 a.m. on Saturday. Rescuers have continued their search operations in the border region to locate other potential survivors of the natural disaster.
