China records 192 million cross-border trips in Q3, visa-free foreign entries up 24.1%

Foreign nationals made 23.272 million border crossings in China in the third quarter of 2026, up 15.6% from a year earlier, the National Immigration Administration said Tuesday. Chinese border authorities handled 192 million cross-border trips in the third quarter of 2026, up 7.9% year on year, according to the National Immigration Administration (NIA).
