China's Unitree unveils 'Superman' robot as fervour builds ahead of Shanghai debut

On Monday, Chinese robotics manufacturer Unitree unveiled a new high-speed robot named "Superman." The unveiling took place ahead of the company's upcoming debut on mainland China's stock market.

Unitree currently holds the position of the world's largest humanoid-robot maker by sales. The company is set to become the first general-purpose robotics firm to list on the mainland Chinese stock market, with trading scheduled to begin in Shanghai.
