China supera los 700 millones de usuarios de IA generativa, más del 50 % de la población

China has surpassed 700 million users of generative artificial intelligence during the first half of 2026, according to a report released on Tuesday by the China Internet Network Information Center.

The milestone marks a penetration rate of more than 50 percent for generative AI technologies among the country's overall population, highlighting rapid adoption rates within the region.
