Spatola played basketball for the U.S. Military Academy and later coached on legendary Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski's staff. Chris Spatola, a former Army starting guard and current ESPN college basketball analyst, has died at the age of 47, the network announced on Tuesday.

Spatola served on Coach K's staff as a Duke basketball assistant coach from 2007-15.
